Ghetto Wrapping
Tuesday, our little friend Titus turned four! Unfortuenly I was sickly and could not attend. We bought Titus a gift, the wrapping paper I picked up I thought was silver, but when I went to wrap the gift, the wrapping paper was clear!!! So we improvised. Since Brent rips phonebooks, we tore sheets of phonebook out and wrapped in "phonebook" and covered it with the clear wrapping paper I bought!! Hahaha! Topped with blue bows and gummy bears! Here's the gift:

1 thing I love about Texas

Yes, shocking, but it's true, I do love certain things about Texas, one of them being - the Arlington Ballpark! We are so close to the Rangers' stadium! The cheap tickets are anywhere from $12 dollars! It's so great! Last Wednesday, which also happens to be half-price and dollar hotdog night, Brent and I went to watch the Rangers and the Braves play. We met up with a few friends and sat with them. The Braves won. I love going to baseball games. I also love concession stand food, wierd, I know, I think it comes from playing in the band during high school. So not only did we get dollar hotdogs, but nachos - cold cheese is my favorite - and a coke.

Changes
Well it's finally June! There are a few changes in our life direction, okay really just one. But we decided (well, really, Brent decided) not to go with Team Impact. They kept telling him different things about working with them this summer. Nothing could ever be nailed down for sure. It was getting pretty frustrating. After all, our lease is up in July and I turned in our notice to our apartment so we have to be out by July 31 and we weren't getting anywhere with Team Impact. So after one phone call, Brent decided it was time to head in a different direction.
Don't get me wrong, we still think Team Impact is a great ministry, but it was not for Brent. The Lord has put together a presentation for Brent to speak and use the strength feats on his own. He has allowed Brent to speak at some many churches and a few schools in the past several months!
About two weeks ago now, Brent with our friend David and the youth group from David's church to do Mission Lab at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. It was AMAZING! Brent's passion for youth was renewed. The youth had a choir tour presentation in which Brent spoke and used a few strenght feats. They did the presentation about 4 times, I think.
So since all this has happened, he has decided to see about different church position possibilities! All this to say that, we might be moving out of Texas!
In all honesty a few weeks ago, the idea of us moving was unthinkable. We have an incredible, incredible church! We have the most amazing friends that we didn't even want to think about leaving. We like Texas for the most part - besides the fact that Texans are confused and think they are part of the south - i think it is all the heat gone to their head! - the plan was to move a closer to our church and Brent's job. So we would be living about 30 -45 minutes away from where we live now. We could set up shop for real.
But now the idea of moving is not so infathomable. In fact it sounds exciting! :) New places, new friends, new ministries, a new start!Ironically a few of our friends might have some changes coming in their lives and so we all might be changing at the same time!
I don't know what will happen. Whatever happens, I hope it all takes place before July 31! I have learned that whenever God wants to do something, after all the players are in place, thing move rather swiftly! :) So I hope these players are in place!
Maybe we will move, maybe we will stay here. So when you think about us, please pray for us.
I'll keep you posted!

Graduation Party

GRADUATION PICS
Hallelujah! It actually happened! I know, I can't believe it! Graduation!
Today, June 14 - Brent went to the school library to check out a book for a friend and he couldn't! Why? Because he is no longer a student at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary!
(the chorus rings again: Hallelujah!) It was rather humorous!
Graduation took place on Southwestern's front lawn on May 9, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.
It was a grand graduation, after which we celebrated with a few friends and our families by eating at Babe's restaurant! Later in the evening a party was held at the Warner's.
Girl's Luncheon

My friend Sandra, is a very inspiring person. She creates the most interesting greeting cards and invitations, the most unique presents (for every occassion), and the most fun group games at parties or for games to teach children, the most intelligent theme parties (along with Jessica).
One of these particular parties she hosted was on May 3, 2008. A luncheon for her friends.

Sunday Afternoon
I love Sunday afternoons! Today for instance, we went to eat at La Hacienda - the best mexican food in texas. then came home and went to Trinity Trails to walk and now Brent is taking a nap and I am listening to David Crowder while blogging. And we have some friends coming over after they get out of church. Our church only meets once a month on Sunday nights. Sundays are so much calmer and slower paced than the rest of the week. Also tomorrow is Memorial Day and we are off! These are the days when I wish we knew someone or had friends who had a boat and/or a lakehouse! I was daydreaming about being on a lake in a boat on the way home from church this morning and I could almost feel the smooth, cool water!!! So if Brent and I ever strike oil, we are so gonna have a lake house and boat that will hold 12 people, just for weekends like this!
Well that's all for now..........

The Graduate
Well here is the first picture of Brent, the Graduate! I have more, tons more. But this computer I am on does not corporate. At all. And the laptop cord broke, so we have no way to charge the laptop. Fortunately we live near the city where the only Dell's store in the world happens to be, so maybe one day we will get a cord, or better yet....we will get a new computer!! However, we will be getting MAC. YAY! They are the best! Love'em!

No Title
Well as most of you know graduation has come and gone!!! May 9 was kind of surreal in some ways, I think b/c it seemed like the day would never actually come and then WHAM! here it is!!
Our families came out and we had good time celebrating with them. My little nephew, Destin, is so sweetly adorable. We also had a fabulous party Friday night! :)
I will post pictures from the weekend later. Right now, I don't have the patience for it.
So now comes the next phase of life..............................if only we knew what that was! HAHA! Waiting still seems to be the name of this phase. Personally, I'm kinda tired of it!
Brent has a part time job with Team Impact. Hopefully it will go full-time in the fall, but they can't guarntee that right now, b/c it 's not the fall! The part time stuff means that he MIGHT do a crusade in June and he MIGHT go to Austraila in July for a bit. So, I'm a little jealous about the Austraila part. Well except for the part about being on a plane for 24 hours......seriously that is not my cup o' tea!
Our lease this apartment in July, however we can't exactly get a house or a different place that could possibly be a tiny bit bigger, b/c we won't know if he goes full-time till August or maybe even September, so we only have what we make now to show wherever we live next! Also at some point we have to get a second car. But really this is okay. That part can wait till August or September b/c right now Brent and I still work at the same place, so it's easy. Well all that to say, who knows where we will wind up next!!
My office is having a major change over. People leaving, people coming, office space moving. Today Jenn, Rachel, and myself boxed up almost all the files in our office. It equaled to total of 77 boxes!! The good thing was it was manual labor - which I like - and we got to wear jeans and t-shirts! :) Tomorrow we will unbox all those files in another location!! So more jeans and t-shirts and manual labor! :)
Well I should go now. This place is a terrible mess. Thanks for reading!!
