No, not of the moon, but of Brent! He has five phases that he goes through each day and they are as follows:

Working Brent

Studying Brent

Goofy Brent
(here he is playing the trumpet)

Working out Brent

and last but not least:

Sleeping Brent

Brent is so funny. He's a good student and a hard worker. I love him.

snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails......

That's what little boys are made of! haha!
Well there have 2 new little boys added to our family!
Ryder Andrew Colee and Destin Michael Cornhill
They are such sweet little nephews!

Destin was born 11/16. He weighed 6 lbs 8 oz and was 19 and 1/4 inches long.
He is so sweet and small. He's adorable. He's such a good baby. He gets a ton of love for sure! Michael and Brittany were really tired, but now they are doing great!
Here are some pictures a few days after he was born:

Ryder Andrew Colee was born in September to Drew and Brittany Colee. He has the most beautiful eyes! He's a chunk though! He was 8 lbs when he was born and he was early! Grayson loves his brother! He's so funny! Those two are gonna have a fun in a few years!

Here are a few pictures, Ryder is about 2 months in these pics:

Gray would not let me take his picture!

Yahtzee and Truffles

Well here we are and it's December 10! It's so wierd - last Friday it was 80 degrees and today it's 41 degrees!

So yesterday, Sunday, was a good day...first i made truffles with my friend Jennifer! I think I might become a candy maker! haha!! It was fun. We made oreo, mint chocolate, and cookie dough truffles! She made peanut butter ones, but I do not like the peanut butter truffles...it's too much peanut butter for me. - side note: i'm watching Deal or No Deal as I type this and the lady on there is Ridculous! i mean really never in my life have i seen such a crazy person! what a silly show! - okay on the important stuff!

After truffle making was over, we went Chris and Christy's house. Christy made taco salad. it was delish! YUM! Then we played Yahtzee! Everytime we play Brent wins, well Brent wins at most games, BUT tonight it was Christy's night on the first game she got not 1, not 2, not 3, but FOUR yahtzee's! This is a record! It was hilarious! Right before the the third yahtzee, she goes, " i think i feel another one comin' on and BAM! there it was yahtzee number 3!! haha! Her total score was: 530 points! WOW!! Your's truly got a whole whopping 239 points, i came in last. Christy's winning streak ended with the beginning of game 2, she had one yahtzee and 187 total points. :( And Brent went back to winning again. He won with 413 points, of course.

Weekend in Arkansas

This past weekend I went to Arkansas with my friend Sandra. We visited a couple from our college days at UM. Summer and Nathan. We had such a fun time. After a long 6.5 hour drive to North West Arkansas, we finally arrived! Saturday, we slept in and ate a little place called "The Crumpett" a cute little tea room. They have great food! Then we shopped a little bit in an outdoor mall and then got a tour thru old Bentonville. We got to see the original Wal-Mart!!! It was really exciting!!! It is a muesum now. Mr. Walton's truck is also inside, Summer said that it used to sit outside, but people were trying to steal it, so they had to move it inside! Can you believe it?!? Saturday night we watched AU/LSU game. It was a sad day in football for a lot of people, except for Alabama! Sunday we went to their church and then left after lunch.
After another incredibly long ride back, I said a few word i never thought I would say, "It's so nice to see Texas!" I know I can't believe it either, but when you drive FOREVER through Oklahoma with terrible drivers on the road...you would say the same thing! Sandra and I have decided that Oklahoma is the most boring place in the world! It will make you wish you were almost anywhere, but Oklahoma! Our friend Jen, is from there and we just had to call and asked how in the world she ever made it in that state! Still, it was great to get away from everything a unwind and relax. Brent even went to Mississippi to see his parents! He had a great time too! Sonya got a 91 inch couch and Brent was so sad that he couldn't bring it to our apartment! Our couch is like 2 inchs compared to Sonya's new one!!

Sandra and Summer

Here we are the "The Crumpett" tea room!

Summer in the most comfortable chair in the world!!

Yep, folks, this is where it all started!!!!

Water Gardens

Living in Fort Worth is pretty fun. If you can't find anything to do, walking around downtown is always interesting! Downtown has a ton of things to offer. Restaurants, chocolate shop, Barnes and Noble, art galleries, muesums, old and unique buildings, a movie theatre, comedy theatre, Bass Hall (for concerts and plays), and the water gardens! We went to eat with Chris and Christy and then we played around at the water gardens.

Babies

It seems like everyone we know is having a baby! It's exciting. Drew and Brittany just had a baby boy - Ryder Andrew Colee. My cousin Shannon and Daniel just had a baby girl - Molly Kathryn - pictured below. Michael and Brittany are about to have a baby boy next month - Destin Michael. Kara and Jamie, other cousins, are having baby or maybe they already have. We have 4 of our friends who recently found out they are having babies next year! One we will have a kid or two, but right now, we have to get through school! This is Molly Kathryn Vann! Isn't she beautiful!

October 2, 2007

Our third anniversary was on Tuesday! It's hard to believe it's been 3 years! We love being married to each other!
We went to eat a Mac's. It may not look like a nice restaurant, but it was! We were given a gift card by someone who wanted to remain annoymous, it was great!

The Feast of Tabernacles

Friday night we went to Natalie and Stuart's house. Natalie grew up in Israel. Her parents are missionaries there. She and Stuart met there. In Israel they celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles or Booths. You can find this in Leviticus 23:33 - 44. The feast is so they remember God's protection and guidence while they were in the wilderness. It is celebrated a week after the Day of Atonement. We had a great time. Natalie told us a little about their time in Israel and about the Israelites today.

Welcome Fall!!

Fall is here! I love fall. The crisp air, football, state fairs, new school supplies, changing leaves, the feel of change coming. However, fall does not come in all it's glory here. Instead summer completely overstays her welcome and becomes obnoxious, forcing it's heat well into October!!

So I decided that I my house, fall would come! I made a fall wreath and a fall table arrangement! All items were purchased at Michael's craft store and made by me! The table decor is not finished, there is a tablecloth I want to get from Wal-Mart. It's not much, but it's a nice change into fall. It was a fun Sunday afternoon project.
